Abstract

|
|
The important anesthetic considerations in the myasthenia Gravis include the marked sensitivity to the nondepolarizing muscle relaxant and the potential interactions of acetylcholinesterase inhibitor with the muscle relaxant. The authors report a case, myasthenia gravis with Graves´ disease, that could be anesthesized with continuous cervical epidural block combined with light general anesthesia, not using any muscle relaxants.
